Parts Counter Salesperson
Villard Implement is looking for a devoted employee who has great customer service skills along with being organized and working well as a team.
Duties and Responsibilities for the Parts Counters Sales Representative:
- Serve our customers’ needs in-store and over the phone
- Interact with customers in a kind and supportive manner
- Research parts solutions for customers
- Sell out parts to our customers
- Assist our service department in ordering/supplying parts to meet our service customers’ needs
- Process sales orders and returns
- Responsible for creating and maintaining work orders
- Stocking/organizing our parts shelves
- Keep parts area clean and uncluttered
- Grow your knowledge on new/current products and product updates
Required Skills Needed for the Parts Counter Sales Representative:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Organizational skills
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to work as a team
- Agricultural, heavy equipment and lawn/garden knowledge
- Confident attitude
Working Conditions
- Will move throughout parts shelves all day
- Will stand six to eight hours during shift
- Some heavy lifting will be required
- Will be exposed to noise, dust, exhaust fumes, paint and other materials in back shop
Appliance Salesperson
Duties and Responsibilities for the Household Appliance Salesperson:
- Serve our customers' needs in-store and over the phone
- Interact with customers in a kind and supportive manner
- Sell out appliances to our customers
- Grow your knowledge on new/current products
- Move appliances from our warehouse to the showroom floor
- Help our customers load their new appliances into their vehicle or on trailer
- Unload appliances from the delivery truck/semi to our warehouse
- Organize Appliance Warehouse
- Keep showroom stocked with appliances, clean and organized
- Create orders for new appliances and customer special orders
Required Skills needed for the Household Appliance Salesperson:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to move appliances
- Willing to learn quickly
- Organizational skills
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to work as a team
- Confident attitude
Working Conditions
- Will stand 5 to 8 hours during shift
- Heavy lifting with assistance from appliance cart
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm and Rotating Saturdays 8am-12pm
Truck Driver/Set up Mechanic
Duties and Responsibilities for the Truck Driver/Set up Mechanic position:
- Assists sales department delivering New and Used Ag Equipment
- Setting up of new equipment
- Replacing parts and servicing of used equipment
- Assess machinery for damage, missing or out of place items
- Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
- Operate all equipment in safe and controlled manner
- Follows all safety rules and regulations
- Interact with customers in a kind and helpful manner
Required Skills Needed for the Truck Driver/ Set up Mechanic position:
- Class A Drivers License and a Valid Health Card
- Experience operating vehicles, tools, and equipment used in pre-delivery and set-up
- Experience with basic computer functions
- Experience working in a team environment
- Must have an adequate toolset to perform job responsibilities
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and stand for hours at a time
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm and Occasional Saturdays
Diesel Mechanic/Service Technician
Duties and Responsibilities for Diesel Mechanic/Service Technician:
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment
- Complete work orders and warranties
- Work well with our parts department to assure parts get ordered for jobs in a timely matter
- Willing to perform diagnosis and repair in the field
- Interact with customers in a kind and helpful manner
- Participate in Service Training Programs
Recommended Skills Needed for the Diesel Mechanic/Service Technician:
- 1 + years of prior Mechanic/Technician experience
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
- Ability to operate vehicles and farm equipment for diagnostic purposes
- Capable of standing for long periods of time, lift heavy objects and able to bend frequently.
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Owns mechanics tool set
- Can Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm and Occasional Saturdays
Small Engine Mechanic/Service Technician
Duties and Responsibilities for Small Engine Mechanic/Service Technician:
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on lawn and garden equipment
- Willing to work on skid loaders as well as Massey Ferguson compact tractors
- Complete work orders and warranties
- Works well with our parts department to assure parts get ordered for jobs in a timely matter
- Interact with customers in a kind and helpful manner
- Participate in Service Training Programs
Recommended Skills Needed for the Small Engine Mechanic/Service Technician:
- 1 + years of prior Mechanic/Technician experience
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
